E-books
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL THE E-BOOKS PURCHASED FROM THIS SITE ARE AVAILABLE IN E-PUB FORMAT (FOR THE SONY E-READER, the iPHONE/ iPAD/ iPOD, OR ADOBE DIGITAL EDITIONS ON YOUR PC) AND IN MOBI FORMAT (FOR THE KINDLE OR A KINDLE APP ON YOUR i-PHONE OR iPAD). See below for instructions on making the correct selection.
If you don't have an e-book reader you can download Adobe Digital Editions free of charge from the Adobe website by clicking on the following link; this will enable you to read e-books in the e-pub format on your computer: http://www.adobe.com/products/digitaleditions/#fp
You can also download Kindle apps from Amazon that enable you to read Kindle e-books without a Kindle e-reader:
You can also buy our e-books as instantly downloadable Kindle e-books from Amazon, at around half the cover price of the printed book (but usually a bit more expensive than if you buy them direct from here). All books are available from Amazon.co.uk and other European Amazon stores; books will only be available from Amazon.com if we own the territorial rights to sell it in the USA.
How to load your e-books onto Kindles and iThings
How to transfer to your Kindle
You can send e-books to your Kindle either by USB transfer or by email.
1. To carry out a USB transfer, connect your Kindle to your computer. Your Kindle should appear in the same place any USB drive or other removable device would (for example, on 'Computer' on a Windows PC). Transfer your e-books to your Kindle by dragging and dropping the .prc files from your computer into the 'documents' folder of your Kindle.
2. Email the .prc files to your Kindle email address, which looks something like 'yourusername@kindle.com' (please note that you need to have authorised the email address from which you are emailing the ebook, which is usually the email address associated with your Amazon account - if you're using another email address you'll need to manage the details of your Kindle account at the Amazon website).
How to transfer to iBooks for iPad / iPhone / iPod
As with everything else iRelated, you need to get your e-books into iTunes before you can use them. Open iTunes on your computer, then click File > Add to Library and select the .epub files. You should now see your e-books in the 'Books' section of your iTunes library.
To get the books from here to your iPhone, iPad or iPod, connect the device to your computer, select it in iTunes, and look for the 'Books' tab at the top of the window. Make sure 'Sync Books' is ticked. You can choose between 'Sync All Book's, which automatically copies all your e-books to the device; or 'Sync Selected Books', which only copies the books you tick. Then all you need to do is sync your device, disconnect and open iBooks.

E-book ISBN: 9781906120856
Please note that Miss Thing is available only in e-pub format. This is because it relies heavily on typography to differentiate voice in the text, and the Kindle unfortunately only offers one font. We believe that the book would be undecipherable without the font information.
