We have access to tutors and mentors who are published writers and who are qualified to teach creative writing. We can offer tutoring in the fields of fiction (novels and short stories), poetry and general non-fiction. Specialised coaching and mentoring in the field of creativity and the application of creative imagination techniques is also available.

Please note that we can only provide manuscript appraisals in the areas we publish: contemporary literary fiction, non-fiction and poetry. We can't provide appraisals for genre fiction e.g. scifi, fantasy, sagas, romance, crime.

Individual tuition: writing, coaching and mentoring

You will agree a programme of study with your tutor after an initial consultation. You will progress entirely at your own pace. Feedback on manuscripts is by e-mail or regular mail; tutorials are available in person, or by telephone.

For detailed manuscript appraisal as part of ongoing tuition, fees are £7 per 1000 words.

Telephone tutorials are available at £20 per half hour, £35 per hour.

All fees are subject to VAT at 17.5%.
