All books ordered through the website are sent free of postage & packing charges in the UK. Due to increased postal costs we are including a flat-rate £2.50 charge for all overseas purchases (sent by air mail) except where a book is especially heavy and the cost may increase - see specific charges on each book page. Why should you buy from us? Because sales through our website are not subject to enormous discounts like many other online outlets (Amazon can take up to 60% of retail price, just for listing a book) - and yet you save money, because within the UK we give you postage & packing free. This means that a book bought from us can be as cheap as a book bought from Amazon. But it also means that the publisher makes something resembling a small profit, and authors make decent royalties. So buying from us supports both small publishers and authors; it ensures that everyone gets a fair deal - and that literary fiction is more likely to have a future.
